GET TO KNOW STEFAN
Stefan Kabasaj was born in 2001 in Novi Sad, Serbia. He began playing tennis at the age of 8 and competed in his first tournament in 2011. Stefan quickly rose to become one of the top junior players in Serbia’s national under-18 competition.
Standing at 1.97 m, his height gives him an advantage, helping him serve at speeds over 210 km/h. His favorite shots are his serve and forehand, which he uses to wear down opponents with powerful, fast winners. His preferred playing surface is hard court and grass.
Off the court, Stefan enjoys spending time with friends, often recharging during vacations. He enjoys listening to music in his free time. His favorite foods are pizza and spaghetti. Besides tennis, his other passions include chess and basketball, with Luka Dončić of the Dallas Mavericks being his favorite basketball player and Magnus Carlsen his favorite chess player.
